How long will it take to complete my return?

Materials are processed within 24 hours from the day of submission and then distributed to our team. Depending on the complexity of the return and whether or not missing information needs to be tracked down, returns generally take between 5 and 14 days to be completed and filed.

Do I need my own email address for the questionnaire and e-signatures?

Yes - each individual needs their own personal email address to complete the questionnaire as well as electronically sign necessary forms. Due to the individual identifier of e-signatures and confidential information within tax returns, spouses/partners/children should not share email addresses.

What is included in an e-signature package?

Spouses/common-law partners will be able to view each other's returns but will only be able to sign their own. Only after both individuals have signed their respective forms will we EFILE the returns.

If you would prefer your return not be visible to your spouse/partner, please let us know in advance.

E-Signature packages for children and dependents will be sent separately to their individual email addresses.

Please state you'd like to send and/or have your documents returned via portal when promoted in the questionnaire and we will reopen your portal and email you a link and instructions to access it.

When activating the portal, ensure the email address you enter in the email box is the same as the email address you entered in the questionnaire.

If you already successfully activated your portal but cannot log in, try to reset your password through the "forgot password" button on the login page.

If the problem continues to persist, please contact us.

When will I get my tax refund from CRA?

If you are registered for direct deposit, most returns are issued 10 - 14 days after assessment but sometimes take longer. Please check your CRA Account.

What if I recieve a post-assessment review letter?

This is a follow up program that CRA uses to verify claims that were made within your tax return. It is important that you respond to the letter by the date specified. You can respond and send the required information directly to CRA. Alternatively, you can engage us to assist you with responding.
